Day #7
We started off the morning with a beautiful sunrise view from our hotel room balconies
After getting ready and eating breakfast at the hotel, we set out to our first destination. We visited the church of Saint Dimitrios where we admired the crypts underneath.
We then headed to our first museum of the day in the town of Pela, the birthplace of Alexander the Great, where we saw some beautiful mosaics and other ancient archeological finds.
After the museum we drove on a scenic road and got lunch in the town of Vergina and explored.
We then visited a second museum containing the Vergina royal tombs among other interesting artifacts.
We then drove back to Thesoloniki and had free time in the city for the remainder of the day before heading back to the hotel for the night.
