We are excited for our trip to Japan. This blog will allow family and friends to be able to see what their student is doing on their trip, in order to stay connected while we are away.

Well we started off our journey trying to get out of all the snow we had up in the Conifer area, which for some was more than others. We all made it though, which was pretty impressive. We had our first leg of the journey from Denver to Munich, which was 9 hours and forty minutes. Kids did great! We had our first casualty, and someone left their bag on the plane. We then got on the bus to head over to the Olympic Stadium; everyone got out to take pictures with their groups. We drove to the Acropolis, learning about different buildings and scenes along the way Once we got to Acropolis we took a guided tour of the temples and learned tons of cool things about Ancient Greece. We used our free time to explore Athens with our groups and buy fun souvenirs. For lunch it was super exciting to eat real greek food, which was a great way to learn more about European culture We met back up with the group to go to the Acropolis Museum. The artifacts were amazing, but unfortunately photography was not permitted. After this, we had more free time and our group decided to get smoothies and take pictures.
