Day#1……We Made It!

Today was rough, but the kids did great. We were running to our first flight from Denver to Seattle. Once landing in Seattle we were able to get something to eat. Before leaving for our 10.5 hour flight to Toyko. One student did leave her jacket in Seattle and another lost his insurance card, so we are off to a great start. Once in Toyko, we dropped our stuff off at the hotel and headed to a mall because we didn’t want the students to sleep. We ended our day with a Japanese style dinner and I think everyone slept great.

Day #1- Travel Day/Philly

Everyone did great with drop off, we made it through security and onto our first flight with no problems. We landed in Philly and went to visit a market to get some lunch. We then made our way to Carpenters Hall, where we got a walking tour. We then got to see the liberty bell and Rocky’s famous steps (which the students didn’t know who Rocky was) before we headed back to the airport for our last flight into Lisbon.
